The Hateful Doors of Exodus International are closed

The Ex-Gay Lie Institution, otherwise known as Exodus International, shut their doors for good.
The organization announced their closing in a press release posted on their website last night.

I have a link here, but here were a couple of key pieces:
“We’re not negating the ways God used Exodus to positively affect thousands of people, but a new generation of Christians is looking for change -- and they want to be heard.”

“Exodus is an institution in the conservative Christian world, but we’ve ceased to be a living, breathing organism. For quite some time we’ve been imprisoned in a worldview that’s neither honoring toward our fellow human beings, nor biblical," said Alan Chambers, president of Exodus.
This awful place was open for almost 40 years. Think of the lives this place has ruined.

Close it and burn the building to ashes.

I hated that place. Even when I thought I was straight.
