Chief Scout Executive for the Boy Scouts of America apologizes for trump's Crazy Behavior

Get into this letter written by Michael Surbaugh is the Chief Scout Executive for the Boy Scouts of America

Scouting Family,

In the last two weeks, we have celebrated the best of Scouting at our 20th National Jamboree with nearly 40,000 participants, volunteers, staff and visitors. The 2017 National Jamboree has showcased and furthered the Scouting mission by combining adventure and leadership development to give youth life-changing experiences. Scouts from Alaska met Scouts from Alabama; Scouts from New Mexico met those from New York, and American youth met youth from 59 other countries.

Over the course of ten days, Scouts have taken part in adventures, learned new skills, made new and lasting friendships and completed over 200 community service projects that offered 100,000 hours of service to the community by young men and women eager to do the right thing for the right reasons.

These character-building experiences have not diminished in recent days at the jamboree – Scouts have continued to trade patches, climb rock walls, and share stories about the day’s adventures. But for our Scouting family at home not able to see these real moments of Scouting, we know the past few days have been overshadowed by the remarks offered by the President of the United States.

I want to extend my sincere apologies to those in our Scouting family who were offended by the political rhetoric that was inserted into the jamboree. That was never our intent. The invitation for the sitting U.S. President to visit the National Jamboree is a long-standing tradition that has been extended to the leader of our nation that has had a Jamboree during his term since 1937. It is in no way an endorsement of any person, party or policies. For years, people have called upon us to take a position on political issues, and we have steadfastly remained non-partisan and refused to comment on political matters. We sincerely regret that politics were inserted into the Scouting program.

While we live in a challenging time in a country divided along political lines, the focus of Scouting remains the same today as every day.

Trustworthiness, loyalty, kindness and bravery are just a few of the admirable traits Scouts aspire to develop – in fact, they make up the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

As part of our program’s duty to country, we teach youth to become active citizens, to participate in their government, respect the variety of perspectives and to stand up for individual rights.

Few will argue the importance of teaching values and responsibility to our youth — not only right from wrong, but specific positive values such as fairness, courage, honor and respect for others.

For all of the adventure we provide youth such as hiking, camping and zip-lining, those activities actually serve as proven pathways and opportunities to develop leadership skills and become people of character.

In a time when differences seem to separate our country, we hope the true spirit of Scouting will empower our next generation of leaders to bring people together to do good in the world.

Yours in Scouting,

Mike

Joint Chiefs chairman: No change in military’s transgender policy

Today, the Joint Chiefs of Staff said that the U.S. military will not change its transgender policy until trump clarifies his messy ass tweets.

Joe Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said:
“I know there are questions about yesterday’s announcement on the transgender policy by the president. There will be no modifications to the current policy until the president’s direction has been received by the secretary of defense and the secretary has issued implementation guidance. In the meantime, we will continue to treat all of our personnel with respect."
This news took all of us by surprise, especially the Pentagon. They were completely caught off guard by trump and his tweets. From their prospective, they didn't have any reason to implement a ban, so why is trump doing this?

Senate Rejects Repeal Without Replace

Some good news...

The Senate rejected a measure to repealed major parts of the Affordable Care Act today.

Here's more
The vote, 45-55, underscored the bind that Republican leaders have found themselves in. Seven Republicans voted against the measure — Senators Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia, Susan Collins of Maine, Dean Heller of Nevada, John McCain of Arizona, Rob Portman of Ohio, Lamar Alexander of Tennessee and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska — showing that repealing the health law without an immediate replacement lacks crucial support among Republicans.

But a more comprehensive measure that would have repealed major parts of the law with a ready replacement also came up short on Tuesday night.

With neither approach viable, Senate Republican leaders may have no choice but to fall back on a third choice: Push a far more limited measure that repeals parts of the Affordable Care Act, such as its mandate that most people have insurance and a tax on medical devices, but leaves most of President Barack Obama’s signature health law in place. Senators would then take their narrow bill into negotiations with the House, which passed a comprehensive measure to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
So, another fail is coming

OutServe-SLDN condemns President's Tweets on Transgender Service

OutServe-SLDN Comments on Trump Tweets Regarding Transgender Service Members

(WASHINGTON) July 26, 2017 – OutServe-SLDN issued the following statement today, in response to Donald Trump’s tweetstorm on open military service by transgender individuals.

"In his latest example of pseudo-policy-by-twitter, Donald Trump has shown blatant disregard for transgender service members who have been serving openly since October 2016. The disruptive burden to the military comes from indecision in a White House which itself is not focused on victory if it’s targeting service members. The readiness, effectiveness, and lethality of the Armed Services comes from the commitment of our troops – not the vagaries and bigotry of exclusionary policies.

We are committed to transgender service members. We are going to fight for them as hard as they are fighting for the country. And we’re going to start by taking the fight to Donald Trump in the Federal Court"

trump bans Trans people from the Military

Remember when trump called himself a "real friend" of the LGBT community?

Well, that was a lie and if you believed it, you were stupid.

Today, trump tweeted:

There's no reasoning behind it. There's no research to even support this. However, he felt that this was a major issue. This is pure bigotry.

We will fight this

Travel Ban: Block Folks Now, Ask Questions Later

So the Supreme Court will review trump’s travel ban in October, and at the same time, allowing a different version of the order to go into effect today.
Individuals from the six Muslim-majority countries affected by the ban ― Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen ― who have a bona fide relationship with the United States aren’t blocked from entering the country.

The court’s order released Monday said a “close familial relationship is required” for individuals who wish to live with or visit a family member. When the relationship is with an entity like a university, it must be “formal, documented, and formed in the ordinary course, rather than for the purpose of evading” the executive order.

As an example, they said, students and lecturers would have a formal relationship, as would someone who accepted employment with an American company. But it would not apply to someone who “enters into a relationship simply to avoid” the executive order. For example, the order said, “a nonprofit group devoted to immigration issues may not contact foreign nationals from the designated countries, add them to client lists, and then secure their entry by claiming injury from their exclusion.”

Although the case doesn’t specifically involve refugee resettlement, Monday’s announcement will likely throw a major wrench into the resettlement process. Many refugees who are resettled in the U.S. come from the six targeted countries, so any who have been totally cleared for resettlement and were waiting to travel to the U.S. in the coming weeks will no longer be able to, unless they have family members here.
Lord... fix this

Johnny Depp in some heat over trump Assassination talk

Lord Johnny Depp in is some mess.

While he was introducing his movie “The Libertine” at the Glastonbury festival, Johnny said this:
"Can you bring Trump here?" Folks jeered. "You misunderstand completely. When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?"
"I want to clarify. I'm not an actor. I lie for a living [but] it's been a while. Maybe it's about time. By the way, this is going to be in the press and it'll be horrible. It's just a question, I'm not insinuating anything."
Well, he was right. Folks were upset... well, trump's folks.

Then the White House released this statement:
“President Trump has condemned violence in all forms and it’s sad that others like Johnny Depp have not followed his lead. I hope that some of Mr. Depp’s colleagues will speak out against this type of rhetoric as strongly as they would if his comments were directed to a Democrat elected official.”
Has he? Because there has been plenty of statements and things said, and done that he hasn't condemned.

News on the Alexandria Shooting, the suspect is James Hodgkinson

the alleged shooter
From CNN
Rep. Steve Scalise, a congressional staffer and members of the congressional police force were shot Wednesday morning in Alexandria, Virginia, in what sources are calling an apparent "deliberate attack."

President Donald Trump said the gunman had been killed. Federal law enforcement sources identified the shooter as James Hodgkinson of Belleville, Illinois. Hodgkinson is 66.The shooter's injuries are described as serious, according to the law enforcement source.

Scalise, the third ranking member of House Republican leadership as the majority whip, appeared to have been shot in the hip and it appeared two Capitol Hill police agents were shot, Rep. Mo Brooks told CNN. A congressional staffer was also injured. Matt Mika, a lobbyist for Tyson Foods was also identified as one of the victims, and Sen. Jeff Flake said Mika was the most seriously injured.
As more reports pop up, we have learned that James is a Bernie supporter and he wasn't a fan of trump

Russian Cyber Hacks on our Electoral System is Deeper than You think

For those who think the Russia investigation is a waste of time...

Bloomberg reports
Russia’s cyberattack on the U.S. electoral system before Donald Trump’s election was far more widespread than has been publicly revealed, including incursions into voter databases and software systems in almost twice as many states as previously reported.

In Illinois, investigators found evidence that cyber intruders tried to delete or alter voter data. The hackers accessed software designed to be used by poll workers on Election Day, and in at least one state accessed a campaign finance database. Details of the wave of attacks, in the summer and fall of 2016, were provided by three people with direct knowledge of the U.S. investigation into the matter. In all, the Russian hackers hit systems in a total of 39 states, one of them said.

The scope and sophistication so concerned Obama administration officials that they took an unprecedented step -- complaining directly to Moscow over a modern-day “red phone.” In October, two of the people said, the White House contacted the Kremlin on the back channel to offer detailed documents of what it said was Russia’s role in election meddling and to warn that the attacks risked setting off a broader conflict.
Please check out the rest of the story, it's a good read

Press Release: Tony Perkins wants trump to "take a wrecking ball to the LGBT distractions"

This press release...
The problem at the U.S. Embassy in Romania wasn’t that officials were saluting the flag. The problem was which flag they were saluting. In a tradition most Americans hoped was gone with President Obama, a handful of U.S. diplomats decided to fly the rainbow flag on par with the stars and stripes that millions have died defending.

The jarring sight in Guatemala, Cuba, Macedonia, the Dominican Republican, and other countries was just more evidence of the politically correct mess left behind by the last administration. Although President Trump refused to declare June LGBT pride month, plenty of Obama holdovers are taking matters into their own hands. Out of respect for the voters who rejected that extreme agenda, it’s time for administration officials to step in and put a stop to a display that puts a sexual fringe on the same pole as Old Glory.

And unfortunately, the State Department isn’t the only agency bucking the White House’s values this June. Today, the Pentagon carried on a tradition President Obama began in 2012, holding a special “pride” event at the same time that other military leaders are ready to turn the page on eight years of social engineering.

It was a disappointing development for conservatives, who thought they had an ally in new Defense Secretary James Mattis. FRC’s Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin (U.S. Army-Ret.) was vocal about his displeasure. “I was hoping that the Trump administration would put less emphasis on everything that does not contribute directly to enhanced readiness and war fighting.”

Leaders of the Conservative Action Project echoed General Boykin’s frustrations. In a letter signed by dozens of organizations, the group calls on the White House to intervene. “The Trump administration should discontinue funding and directing personnel resources for special-interest events, including LGBT-Pride Month events in June, which do not strengthen military readiness. We will support officials and initiatives taken to end politically-correct social agendas, and look forward to more changes that will strengthen the armed forces and restore America’s military readiness.”

The Obama administration worked from Kenya to El Salvador – not to advance his country’s priorities –but the 44th president’s radical social agenda. It’s time for Donald Trump to take a wrecking ball to the LGBT distractions of his predecessor and turn the page on policies that offend more people than they “honor.”

This will be seen in most Black Households

The rumor is this pic is the official White House painting of President Obama

Protesters shut down Capital Pride

This is great!

During D.C. Capital Pride Parade, protesters disrupted the event because it's too corporate and marginalizes minorities.

Here's more
Protesters from No Justice No Pride linked arms to block the parade route near 15th and P streets in Northwest Washington about 5:30 p.m. With a pink, turquoise and yellow banner stretched across the street, the protesters shouted “What side are my people? What side are you on?” and “No justice, no pride.”

“Capital Pride has consistently demonstrated that it is more interested in accommodating the interests of Metropolitan police and of corporate sponsors than it is in supporting the very communities it supposedly represents,” the group wrote in a statement announcing its disruption of the parade.

“Capital Pride is a sham, corporate scum don’t give a damn,” one person posted on Twitter with the hashtag #NoJusticeNoPride.
Some of the attendees were pissed, claiming that the protesters are whining and ruining pride. Personally, what the protesters are doing is the reason why we are out there.

These companies are fueling the prison system, hurting low income people (which are often queer people of color), and more. We have to address the inequalities within these systems. If not, this whole celebration is a lie.

Sean Spicer: Trump's tweets are 'official statements'

Jeff Sessions suggested he could resign due to tension with trump

Get into this news

Word on the street says that Session and trump are hitting rock roads. ABC News reports that their relationship is so tense that Sessions suggested he could resign from his role as AG.
The friction between the two men stems from the attorney general's abrupt decision in March to recuse himself from anything related to the Russia investigation -- a decision the president only learned about minutes before Sessions announced it publicly. Multiple sources say the recusal is one of the top disappointments of his presidency so far and one the president has remained fixated on.

Trump’s anger over the recusal has not diminished with time. Two sources close to the president say he has lashed out repeatedly at the attorney general in private meetings, blaming the recusal for the expansion of the Russia investigation, now overseen by Special Counsel and former FBI Director Robert Mueller.
If Jeff resigns, I'm sure more will follow.

He said:
“Twenty-three of the 28 member nations are still not paying what they should be paying and what they are supposed to be paying for their defense. This is not fair to the people and taxpayers of the United States. 2% is the bare minimum for confronting today’s very real and very vicious threats. The article was not initially subjected to the high degree of editorial scrutiny we require for all our reporting. Upon appropriate review, the article was found not to meet those standards and has since been removed.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy ‘I think Putin pays’ trump

This story broke yesterday, but The Washington Post found the good stuff here.

From WP
A month before Donald Trump clinched the Republican nomination, one of his closest allies in Congress — House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy — made a politically explosive assertion in a private conversation on Capitol Hill with his fellow GOP leaders: that Trump could be the beneficiary of payments from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy (R-Calif.) said, according to a recording of the June 15, 2016, exchange, which was listened to and verified by The Washington Post. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher is a Californian Republican known in Congress as a fervent defender of Putin and Russia.

House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) immediately interjected, stopping the conversation from further exploring McCarthy’s assertion, and swore the Republicans present to secrecy.
Lord, this is so crazy!

White Trash protesters gather at Lee Park, Chanting Nazi Philosophy

Back in April, Charlottesville City Council voted to get rid of the Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee statue that stands in their local park. There was an injunction that prevents the city from doing so for about six months. However, guess who had a problem with it? You're right, a bunch of haters.

So over the weekend, a few dozen torch-wielding protesters showed up in the Charlottesville’s Lee Park to protest. These fools were chanting “You will not replace us,” “Russia is our friend” and “Blood and soil.”

The Blood and Soil chant comes from Nazi philosophy:
Blood and Soil (‘Blut und Boden’) was a very important philosophy for Nazi Germany. The issue of ‘blood and soil’ nearly split the Nazi Party after 1925 and was only resolved at the Bamberg Conference of 1926. One side of the Nazi Party wanted to emphasise the relationship between true Aryans and a rural life. Hitler believed that true Germans ‘came from the soil’ – that they had a family background based on farming and life in the countryside. However, men like Gregor and Otto Strasser wanted to move the party away from the belief in ‘Blut und Boden’ and move towards a policy of attracting more support in urban areas. The Strasser brothers were defeated on this issue and Hitler rallied his supporters around ‘Blut und Boden’ while Otto Strasser left to form his own party based outside of Germany. Gregor was murdered on the Night of the Long Knives.
This stupid protest was lead by Richard Spencer, the King of Losers

Nothing was accomplished, the statue will still be removed.

So What do Folks think of trump?

trump Approval hit Record Low

Yes, this is great news!

trump's approval rating is rock bottom.

Just look at this info from Quinnipiac
Today’s job approval rating compares to a negative 40 – 56 percent approval rating in an April 19 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University and a negative 35 – 57 percent score April 4, his lowest approval rating since he became president.

The president is losing support among independent voters and groups which are important parts of his base. Approval ratings are:

-Negative 29 – 63 percent among independent voters, down from a negative 38 – 56 percent April 19;
-A split among white voters with no college degree, as 47 percent approve and 46 percent disapprove, compared to a 57 – 38 percent approval April 19;
-White men go from a 53 – 41 percent approval April 19 to a split today with 48 percent approving and 46 percent disapproving.

“There is no way to spin or sugarcoat these sagging numbers,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll. “The erosion of white men, white voters without college degrees and independent voters, the declaration by voters that President Donald Trump’s first 100 days were mainly a failure and deepening concerns about Trump’s honesty, intelligence and level headedness are red flags that the administration simply can’t brush away,” Malloy added.

Comey asked for Money for Russia Investigation before he was Fired

This tea is getting hot AF.

NYT reports

Days before he was fired, James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director, asked the Justice Department for a significant increase in money and personnel for the bureau’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the presidential election, according to three congressional officials who were briefed on his request.

Mr. Comey asked for the resources last week from Rod J. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general who wrote the Justice Department’s memo that was used to justify the firing of Mr. Comey this week, the officials said.

Mr. Comey then briefed members of Congress on the meeting in recent days, telling them about his meeting with Mr. Rosenstein, who is the most senior law enforcement official supervising the Russia investigation. Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from that inquiry because of his close ties to the Trump campaign and his undisclosed meetings with the Russian ambassador.

The timing of Mr. Comey’s request is not clear-cut evidence that his firing was related to the Russia investigation. But it is certain to fuel bipartisan criticism that President Trump appeared to be meddling in an investigation that had the potential to damage his presidency.

The F.B.I. declined to comment. But Sarah Isgur Flores, the Justice Department spokeswoman, said “the idea that he asked for more funding” for the Russia investigation was “totally false.” She did not elaborate.
This is going to historic, once the truth gets out. I mean, this is so obvious.

Kentucky Gay Couple can Sue Kim Davis

Kim Davis is about to get it!

The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati has revived a damages lawsuit against her. Here's more:
A federal appeals court on Tuesday revived a damages lawsuit against Kim Davis, the Kentucky county clerk who in 2015 refused to grant marriage licenses to same-sex couples because it conflicted with her Christian beliefs.

The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati said a lower court judge erred in finding that damages claims by David Ermold and David Moore became moot, after a new state law last July excused clerks like Davis, from Rowan County, from having to sign marriage license forms.

While the couple eventually did get a license, a three-judge appeals court panel said they could sue over Davis’ initial refusal to grant one, after the U.S. Supreme Court in June 2015 said the Constitution guaranteed a right to same-sex marriage.
I hope they sue her for everything she's got!

Is trump signing a Religious Liberty Executive Order on Thursday?

Word on the street says that trump may sign an Executive Order that will harm the queer community.

Politico reports

President Donald Trump has invited conservative leaders to the White House on Thursday for what they expect will be the ceremonial signing of a long-awaited—and highly controversial—executive order on religious liberty, according to multiple people familiar with the situation.

Two senior administration officials confirmed the plan, though one cautioned that it hasn’t yet been finalized, and noted that lawyers are currently reviewing and fine-tuning the draft language. Thursday is the National Day of Prayer, and the White House was already planning to celebrate the occasion with faith leaders.

The signing would represent a major triumph for Vice President Mike Pence—whose push for religious-freedom legislation backfired mightily when he served as governor of Indiana—and his allies in the conservative movement.
As of now, this is a rumor, however we will now on Thursday
